It's tougher than I thought, and my brain feels like mush. You know kinda like applesauce but even mushier because some kid's been hitting a brick over it? But I won't give up. The exam's in 3 days and I've only got 4 more chapters left to study. That's about a chapter a day. .・゜゜・(/。\)・゜゜・.No, these aren't tears of anguish...really, I like feeling like someone's cramming an elephant through my ear and having anxiety attacks every half hour, honestly. (╥_╥)
Chapter 19: The Kidneys
Interesting factoid(probably the only interesting thing I remember):
Doctors used to taste urine to test for diabetes mellitus, since people with this kind of diabetes had glucose in their urine, if the pee was sweet, it could be a sign of diabetes mellitus. Of course they don't do this anymore(at least I hope not), since we have glucose strips and much more advanced methods of diagnosing. I read it in my book, but then again we all know how accurate books can be, and I'm too lazy to see if this is true, so do with it what you will. (⊙_◎)
